• Associates Professor, Population Research Centre, G.U (Sponsored By The Ministry Of Health And Family Welfare, Govt. Of India) Under Gauhati University

Qualification:

• A good academic record, with a Ph.D in Demography/Population Studies/Statistics/Economics/Mathematics/ Sociology/Psychology/Anthropology/Geography
• A master’s degree with atleast 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed)
• A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and /or research in a academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/Industry with a minimum of seven publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals and a total research score of Seventy five(75) as per the criteria in Appendix II, table 2..
• Subject: Master’s Degree in Demography/Population Studies/Statistics/Economics/Mathematics/ Sociology/Psychology/Anthropology/Geography. Person with P.G Degree other than Demography/population studies at a recognized institution/University

Remuneration:

• ₹ 1,31,400 – 2,17,100
• Plus other usual allowance as admissible under G.U Rules

2. NAME OF THE POST:

• Deputy Controller Of Examination, Gauhati University

Qualification:

• Master’s degree with at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed.
• Nine years’ of experience as Assistant Professor in the Academic Level 10 and above with experience in educational administration.

OR

• Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of Higher education.

OR

• Five(5) years of administration and in conduct of Examinations in an educational institution of Higher learning are desirable.

Age:

• Preferably below 45 years as on the last date of submission of application. (Relaxtion of age for SC/ST candidates as per rules)

Remuneration:

• ₹ 78,800– 2,09,200
• Plus other usual allowance as admissible under G.U Rules

3. NAME OF THE POST:

• Chief Medical Officer, Gauhati University

Qualification:

• MBBS from recognized University.
• M.D in General Medicine or equivalent/similar subject.
• 15(Fifteen) years working experience in Hospital/Health Care.

Age:

• Should not be below 40(forty) years and above 55 (fiftyfive) years as on the last date of receipt of application. (Relaxtion of age for SC/ST candidates as per rules)

Remuneration:

• PB ₹30,000 – 1,10,000
• GP ₹16,900
• Plus other usual allowance including non practicing allowance as admissible under G.U Rules.

4. NAME OF THE POST:

• Deputy University Engineer (Civil), Gauhati University

Qualification:

• B.E in Civil Engineering from a recognized university with experience in designing RCC Building, Construction, Supervision, & Quality Control at site. Candidates should be well versed in using Civil Engineering Software & Microsoft Office.

Age:

• Not less than 30 years and not more than 40 Years of age as on the last date of submission of application.

Remuneration:

• ₹30,000 – 1,10,000
• GP ₹14,500
• Plus other usual allowance as admissible under G.U Rules

5. NAME OF THE POST:

• Junior Technical Officer Instrumentation & USIC, Gauhati University

Qualification:

• M.Sc in Instrumentation with expertise in design/development/operation of sophisticated instruments.

Age:

• Not less than 24 years and not more than 40 Years of age as on the last date of submission of application.

Remuneration:

• ₹30,000 – 1,10,000
• GP ₹12,500
• Plus other usual allowance as admissible under G.U Rules
