Qualification:
- Minimum Educational Qualification is class VIII passed and those who have passed H.S.S.L.C. examination shall not be eligible to apply for the post.
Age:
- The Candidate must not be less than 18 years and more than 40 years of age as on 01/01/2023.
- The upper Age limit is relaxable as per Govt. Rule.
Note:
- The Candidates must be an Indian Citizen as defined under Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
- The applicant will have to submit the following self attested testimonials along with their application :
(i) Educational Qualification Certificates,
(ii) Marksheets,
(iii) Age Proof Certificate,
(iv) Employment Exchange Registration Certificate
(v) Caste Certificate (in case of Reserved category candidates)
(vi) Pan Card
along with 3 copies of recent Passport size Photographs.
Incomplete application shall stand rejected. - The application should be addressed to the District & Sessions Judge, Nagaon and the applicant must mention on the envelope containing the application “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF PEON/PEON FOR OFFICER” at the top.
- Contact Numbers and e-mail ID (if any) of the applicants should be provided in the application.
- Candidates who are already in the Government Service should apply through proper channel.
- The duty profile must be performed by a Peon / Peon for Officer is given below :
a) Physical Maintenance of records of the office.
b) General cleanliness & Upkeep of the office.
c) Carrying of bags, files & other papers within the building.
d) Photocopying, sending of FAX etc.
e) Other non-clerical work in the office.
f) Assisting in routine office work like diary, dispatch etc. including on computer.
g) Delivering of dak (outside the building)
h) Watch & ward duties.
i) Opening & closing of rooms.
j) Dusting of furniture etc.
k) Cleaning of building, fixtures etc.
l) Driving of vehicles, if in possession of valid driving license.
m) Upkeep of parks, lawns, potted plants etc.
n) Any other work assigned by the superior authority.
o) Engaged in need based IT works including computerization, e-file etc.
p) Cooking.
The above mentioned duties is only illustrative and not exhaustive, the Superior Authority may add other duties of similar nature ordinarily performed by the staff at this level. - The Candidates have to submit their application along with self attested documents(in photocopy) in a sealed envelope by Courier/ Registered Post/Speed post/ or deposit the same in the ‘Drop Box’ provided for the purpose in the premises of the District & Sessions Judge’s Court Building at Nagaon.
- If any Candidate is found to have suppressed his/her educational qualification or given any wrong information at the time of applying for the post, his/her candidature shall be liable to be rejected,
- The last date of receipt of application is 15 (Fifteen) days from the date of publication of the advertisement. Incomplete applications and applications received after due date shall be summarily rejected.
- Newly Appointed candidates have to submit an undertaking that they will abide by the NEW PENSION RULES.
- The list of eligible & non eligible candidates will be uploaded in the official website (nagaonjudiciary.gov.in) with the date of interview.
- No separate Call Letter will be issued from this office.
- The eligible candidates shall have to appear Viva-Voce Test and they will have to bring all the required original testimonials to appear Viva-Voce test.
- All other information relating to the recruitment process (including final results) will be published in the official website of this district Judiciary.
- All the applicants are advised to visit the official website frequently.
- No TA/DA is admissible to the candidates for appearing in the Viva-Voce Test.
- Canvassing directly or indirectly shall disqualify a Candidate.
- The undersigned reserves the right to cancel the advertisement, alter/
